I'm no stranger to atmosphere stuck in this journey of life. I began my online journey back in 2009 and over the years have been fortunate enough to work with mentors such as Brendan Burchard, Tony Robbins and T Harv Eker to name a few. In 2013 I managed to sack my boss and quit my full time Executive level Government Role I'd worked in for almost 17 years.
This was when I took the plunge to perform full time online. Going full-time online isn't straightforward. A good deal of things keep us from making the leap--things like fear and insecurity.
I made the decision to collect the classes I've learned along the way and to share them with other people, such as you, striving to better themselves and create a liberty laptop lifestyle.
Therefore, here are my 7 tips for getting a successful online business.
1. Focus in your WHY.
How big is your WHY for starting an online business. Can it be to stop your job, have more time freedom to spend with friends and family or more money to go on such a luxury vacation or buy that new car. How committed are you to your objective? How important is it for you, and what are you willing to sacrifice so as to achieve it? If you find yourself fully focused and committed, motivation will soon follow.
2. Seek a Mentor and the Ideal knowledge.
Starting out online can be a minefield with a lot of"Shiny Objects" and ways to earn online. Having a mentor can fast track your results and take you be the hand and show you the way. If you focus on the excitement of discovery, improving, exploring and experimenting, your motivation will always be fuelled. So the key is to get a Mentor, and revel in the journey not concentrate on the destination. Keep thinking about what you're learning along the way and creating your mindset and skills.
3. Eliminate Negative beliefs and ideas.
Ideas influence feelings and feelings determine the best way to view the world. You have a Good Deal of thoughts in mind, and you always have a choice of which ones to Concentrate on: the ones which will make you emotionally stuck (fears, doubts) or the ones who will move you closer to your goals (excitement, experimentation, trying new things and stepping outside of your comfort zone)
4. Use your imagination.
Next step after getting rid of unwanted thoughts is to use your imagination. Picture yourself living the life that you want, driving the car you always wanted, residing in the home you dreamed of and travelling and appreciating that amazing holiday.
5. Eliminate distractions & take ACTION.
Meaningless distractions and things will always be on your way, especially those simple, usual things you would rather do rather than focusing on new challenging and income generating activities. Learn to concentrate on what is the most essential and delegate the jobs that are not to a virtual helper.
6. Plan and set Goals.
Know your monthly and weekly plan and establish your goals. Complete your weekly"To Do" list, noting when you may do what and how. Review how each day went by what you've heard, achieved and revise everything you could improve.
Watch to recognize any symptoms of fatigue and take some time to rest. Your body and mind remainder when you schedule comfort and fun time into your week.
